Drew is great for mens hair!

I hate to say i wasnt very happy. I scheduled an appt for my 9 year old and was told it included wash cut style for kids cut. I get there and she asks if she can wash it because it's wavy and we only do a dry cut for kids cut. She said someone new must have scheduled me and did apologize. Then after very quick wash and trim she said she can style but it brings it to 60 (I was told 25 when scheduling), I say ok if it's straightened it will last all week so that's fine. She blow dries it straight and says all done. I ask why she didnt straighten and she says its a natural look. My daughter likes it so fine, although she has textured hair so it was frizzy and wavy by the time we got to the car. We were there all of 25, 30 min max. Im home typing this and her appt was at 330. I dont mind paying the 60 but she should have gotten a thorough wash, cut and style. It should have been a full experience for her especially since shes never been to a salon before and for the price.

Absolutely loved my hair experience at Monroe with Mary. It was my first time using this salon and I’ll definitely be back. I had a warm greeting and quick to get started. Mary understood exactly what I wanted to do with my hair and I left a very happy customer. I got partial highlights. She matched the blonde perfectly! The salon was tidy and I really loved the products they use. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

Chose to come here to get my hair done for graduation by Danielle because I had good experiences before. I had the appointment scheduled for almost a month and confirmed it three times, both with the stylist and receptionist. Two days before the appointment I got a text that my stylist was no longer available and if I would go with another. I replied the same day saying as long as it was the same pricing and time I would be fine with that. I don’t get a reply until the next day (day before graduation) saying that they want to do the appt at a time that does not work for me. I call and get it sorted by pushing the original time forward. Day of I get a message stating that the stylist is running 20 minutes behind. Also there apparently was minimal communication with my original stylist because they attempted to charge me almost double what I was originally quoted and I wasn’t even offered a discount for my experience. I respect that the price that I was originally quoted was honored, but this entire experience left me stressing about the part of the day I was supposed to be the most relaxed.
