I really thought I found my salon until my most recent experience. I had balyage done with one of the stylists here, and I'm really disappointed with the results. I showed her the picture multiple times and I explained exactly what I wanted, but it turned out a lot different and much darker to the point that I can barely see the "balyage ". It looks like deep brown all over color! When I expressed my concern after the service she said it will lighten up after a few washes, but it's still isn't going to be what I asked for. The results are way daker and I could barely see any balyage. My stylist also asked her colleague when she was choosing the color after bleaching my hair. She didn't seem confident with her work and she was in a rush. I asked for loose waves and she barely did any waves. My hair looked straight, frizzy and dry with a few waves at the end. I had to come home and do it myself. Extremely disappointed with the service 😞 Update: Natalya reached out to me and arranged a time to fix my hair. She was very nice and understanding. My hair looks better and healthier after my visit with her. She really cares about her clients. Thanks again Natalya!

Everyone at this salon is so professional and talented! They make sure they give the results their customer’s want. Kalpana is incredible and I can’t recommend her enough. I recently moved and had to try another salon which did not compare. In the future, I’d drive 6 hours to Alya. Thanks for having great customer service 🩷

Can’t say enough positive things about the salon and Mimi! The salon is beautiful and clean. Mimi gave me a lot of really good advice on things to do with my hair. Both for care and styling. She also did an amazing job with my hair and did exactly what I was looking for. I like that the salon has small bottles of things so you don’t have to commit to buying full size in case it doesn’t work for you.

During my cut, my earring had fallen out and Nellie and her assistant were so so helpful and understanding! They sanitized the earring and helped me put it back in. Not to mention they did an amazing job on my curly hair! 😊

The salon staff was very friendly and offered teas and snacks while you waited. They provided the service I requested and were kind enough to reach out by email afterward to ask for feedback. I was there for a simple haircut and so I can't speak much about styling or hair coloring, but I was satisfied with the result.

Amazing! I took my daughter here for her birthday and also for guidance on how to deal with her curly hair. Everyone was so friendly and professional. The cut and style she received is something that she can easily maintain at home. My daughter's before and after are night and day! We will be back!

I have been coming to Alya Salon since it opened! I followed Tammy here and could not be more impressed. The salon is bright, clean, and inviting. The hair washing station has adjustable sinks to fit your neck and the seats recline. Everyone is welcoming. The front desk always asks if I would like a beverage or a light snack when I arrive at every appointment, and they make sure I have my next visit lined up before I leave. I love that the salon supports the town of Vienna; I saw somewhere they participated in the local Halloween parade one year! Tammy is the star of the show. She listens to what you would like done with cut and color, explains the entire process before it happens and teaches you on any aspect (mine is blow drying curly hair; I went home and bought a better defuser). Her expertise is evident during every appointment. My mom and sister loved seeing my hair and hearing how wonderful an experience I had that they are now Tammy’s clients as well!
