I walked into Alya today at 2:15 to make a haircut appointment. An hour later, at 3:15, I was back in my car with a perfect haircut! My hair was way below my waste - I had to always keep it in a braid. It’s a perfect length now - still long enough to put in a ponytail or just let it down. Thank you, Gunel, for giving me exactly what I wanted and doing it so efficiently! I love it! And just One hour to shampoo, cut and blow dry my thick long hair is a skill noteworthy! EDIT TO ADD - UPDATING TO 5 STAR TREATMENT - I decided I needed to delete and abbreviate my previous review to reflect more of where we are now. Long story shortened, my daughter came in and spent a lot of money on service to walk out with subpar hair. I tried at the time to advocate and get some sort of resolve while there, and I was not really "heard." Fast forward, I wrote a detailed review that included pics and concerns and sent an email as well. To get a prompt follow-up response, with sweet Natayla, the owner. Who heard my concerns, saw what I referenced, and agreed that the original outcome was not a proper reflection of the salon, and she wanted to make it right, and she did! She had us come in. She took her time and went above and beyond to provide her with a glowing outcome!! We are elated at the transformation. Thank you for all that you did to help her through this hiccup. It was an absolute pleasure working with you, and I hope to continue our hair care needs with you in the future!!

Mina made me very happy today with my new short “top down” hair cut. She always takes plenty of time after the cut and blow dry to fine tune and shape the style. It’s always great and grows out well too.

I found Alya Salon in a google search for stylists who specialize with curly hair. Natalya is very well trained in styling and cutting curly hair. She helped me ease into my graying hair (no more coloring) and my natural curls (no more blowouts). Also, Kayla is great with eyebrow tinting. I can’t thank Tammy and Natalya enough for the AMAZING experience I had at Alya Salon. I had tried to bleach and color my hair at home and it was a mess. Natalya took out my extentions and evened out my hair color to beautiful champagne blonde. Tammy cut and styled my hair to this fun chic bob!
